Bison Pump Install: 3 hours
This was an install for a dug well on the farm to provide a secondary water source. This pump coupled with the bison pressurizing system can provide water to the existing household water infrastructure in a grid down scenario. Install went smooth and was straight forward, there are plenty of youtube vids out there if you’re a visual learner, if not, they provide an install booklet that is professionally done with great pictures.
We decided to go with a white cedar platform above the well cap for a couple reason. It provides for ease of access and maintenance, and it was a cheaper option due to having access to a sawmill.
