Studies from the US have verified that Highland Beef is 38% lower in fat content and 4% lower in cholesterol than steaks from local supermarkets. It is so lean that it compares with chicken and fish fat content.

HIGHLAND DIET

At Full Armor Farm the natural diet of our cows is NOT grain… cows are grazers and meant to eat natural grasses and hay. We only feed our cattle natural grasses, hay and supplement from our garden and orchard, this helps nourish with variety, that are never treated with any pesticides or chemicals.

PURCHASING PROCESS

Once your deposit has been received, your beef will be reserved until harvest time (October-November, June-July). Please contact us for beef availability. Once the cattle have been taken to the abattoir, the meat will hang for approximately one to two weeks before being cut according to your specifications. Download the cut sheet off the products page. Once your beef is hanging we will communicate the pickup date. Please make arrangements to pickup your beef from FAF or special arrangements for delivery. Total price is known the day after the cattle is dropped off and the hanging weight is determined.

You will be notified of your remaining balance. We accept PayPal, cash and checks made payable to Full Armor Farm LLC.
